Oct 26, · The short answer is “yes”: because releasing on tape is so much cheaper than on vinyl, because not every album can be released on album, tape is a great alternative – better than CD, I find.

Does anyone know anything about recording on cassette tapes and what the best tapes I could get would be. I saw some 30 minute type II TDK cassette tapes on ebay labelled as professional studio master tapes.
